What it was like to bring Black Adam to life, according to Dwayne Johnson
Shazam and Black Adam have received a lot of hype from Warner...
New trailer of ‘Black Adam’ just got released
Black Adam’s second trailer, just released by Warner Bros., provides some additional character information as well as a potential plot arc.
Teth-Adam, a slave in prehistoric Khandaq, with supernatural and ‘godly’ skills. Adam seeks retribution since the guilt of his son’s death haunts him. He becomes Black Adam after utilising his abilities to exact retribution and becoming locked up. He who became a faraway tale or possibly a myth is now free, almost 5000 years later.
He now faces out against a potent new adversary that poses a threat to the entire planet, along with the Justice Society, a team of superheroes from the current era.
Other DC characters like Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), and Atom Smasher will also appear in the film (Noah Centineo).
Another crucial figure appears in the Jaume Collet-Serra-directed film, and it’s none other than Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis. This time around, it appears Waller would also be enlisting Adam. Waller is known for founding the infamous anti-hero squad Suicide Squad.
Johnson has reportedly fantasised of playing the role for years, and he was just as eager to present the movie at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2022. This has long been a passion project for Johnson.
“It has been a long journey, fuelled with passion, with commitment, with grit. It’s been easily over 10 years. The journey has been an incredible one. I love coming to Comic-Con. To be here in Hall H, representing a DC anti-hero is a dream come true. The dream, having been in the business for years now, I’d bring movies here and hope you guys would like them but this is a dream come true.”
