Tina Turner mourns the death of her ‘beloved’ son Ronnie

• Ronnie passed away on Dec. 8.
• We don’t know what caused him to die yet, but he had been sick for a long time, including with cancer.
• After Ronnie died, his wife, Afida, wrote an emotional tribute to him on Instagram.

Tina Turner is sad because her “beloved” son Ronnie died suddenly at age 62.

“Ronnie, you left us way too soon. “I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son, when I’m sad,” the singer wrote in the caption of a black-and-white Instagram photo she posted on Friday.

Ronnie passed away on Dec. 8. We don’t know what caused him to die yet, but he had been sick for a long time, including with cancer.

After Ronnie died, his wife, Afida, wrote an emotional tribute to him on Instagram.

“My god Ronnie Turner was a true angel with a big soul and a lot of spirituality. He was my husband, my best friend, my baby, and my nurse. I did my best to save you this time, but I couldn’t, and I’m very angry,” Afida wrote in the caption for a series of photos of her late husband.

Rest in peace, Craig, Ike, and Aline Turner.

No children.

Craig, Ronnie’s 59-year-old brother, shot and murdered himself in 2018. “I don’t know what drove him over the line, since he said he’d never felt that strongly about a woman before.

“In August, he brought her to meet me. I purchased him a fixer-upper apartment years ago. He acquired a new job at a reputable California real estate firm.

Tina, 83 at the time, claimed he committed suicide because he was lonely.

“I believe Craig was lonely,” she added. “I have images of him smiling all around my home, and I feel like he’s in a nice place.”
