A representative for Rihanna confirmed the news on Sunday.

The 34-year-old “Work” singer ignited pregnancy rumours during her career-spanning Super Bowl LVII halftime show while donning a form-fitting red jumpsuit. The news was released just moments later.

This will be Rihanna’s second kid with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The pair, who got together in late 2020, already have an 8-month-old baby to whom they haven’t given a name.

Ronald Fenty, the wealthy entrepreneur of Fenty Beauty, said last week that his daughter is “enjoying” parenthood. He said, “She’s a really overprotective mother.”

Ronald added that before settling on a name for her son, Rihanna considered “a few names.” If I tell you, she’ll have my head, he joked.

Nine-time Grammy winner returned to the stage on Super Bowl Sunday after a lengthy musical layoff. Since 2016, when she last put out an album called “Anti,” she has not gone on tour.

However, music industry insiders claimed they had heard rumours about the legendary performer coming back on the road before Rihanna’s pregnancy announcement.

In January 2022, Rihanna made her first pregnancy announcement while strolling around Rocky’s neighborhood of Harlem while sporting a noticeable baby bump.

The lead singer of “Love on the Brain” claimed last week during a press conference prior to the Super Bowl that she feels like she “can take on the world” and “can do anything” since becoming a mother.
