Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli aggression in Palestine at UN calls for immediate ceasefire

• Pakistan condemned the Israeli aggression at the UN.

New York: Munir Akram, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations (UN), strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Palestine and demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

While addressing the UN General Assembly, Pakistan’s delegate Munir Akram said that the Israeli forces are attacking innocent Palestinian citizens and are not only bombing residential buildings but also hospitals.

The delegate of Pakistan places further emphasis on international entities to start the delivery of aid to the Palestinians as soon as possible.

The Pakistani diplomat added that Israeli forces’ attacks on innocent Palestinians are war crimes and that Israel is severely violating the rights of Palestinians, which is a clear violation of international law.

Added to that, the Israeli bombing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank should be stopped, the protection of Palestinian citizens should be assured, and the Arab League (AL) and Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) demand an immediate ceasefire.

It should be noted that Israel’s naval and air forces bombarded Gaza throughout the night, in which multi-story buildings and houses were targeted.
Moreover, there are scenes of destruction everywhere in northern and central Gaza.

Sadly, after water, fuel, and electricity, phone and internet services have also been stopped, due to which the situation on the ground and the number of deaths cannot be revealed.

The sources said that thousands of people are feared to be martyred in one night.
