Cement sector in Pakistan remains under stress as price saw back-to-back hikes with restrained demand. In exhale of break for the construction industry, cement prices in Pakistan moved down.
Data shared by Pakistan Bureau of Numbers shows slight dip in prices which is being linked to progressive impact on the manufacture sector. The drop in rates will also provide probable relief to those who are looking to start production in near future.
Cement Latest Price in Pakistan
During the previous week, the average retail cost of cement per bag in northern cities of the country stood at Rs.1225.
Likewise, in southern cities, the average retail cost of cement per bag was recorded at Rs1200. In the capital Islamabad, the price per cement bag was Rs1210, while in Rawalpindi, it was Rs1199.
Gujranwala’s rate was Rs. 1250, Sialkot’s Rs. 1240, Lahore’s Rs. 1280, Faisalabad’s Rs. 1240, Sargodha’s Rs. 1217, Multan’s Rs. 1216, Bahawalpur’s Rs. 1250, Peshawar’s Rs. 1200, and Bannu’s Rs. 1170.
Similarly, in Karachi, the average retail price per bag was Rs. 1168, Hyderabad’s Rs. 1180, Sukkur’s Rs. 1300, Larkana’s Rs. 1173, Quetta’s Rs. 1200, and Khuzdar’s Rs. 1177.
