The star of the popular series “Sacred Games” and Bollywood megastar Saif Ali Khan has announced that he will be releasing his autobiography in 2021.
“So many things will be lost in time if we don’t record them.” Said Khan during the announcement.
Saif Ali Khan has had a distinguished and colorful career in the Indian film industry but always remained a private and let his performances do all the talking. The book promises to change that as fans will now have an insight into his rather personal life.
Having now spent more than 2 decades in the movie industry, Khan had built a formidable portfolio being the start of various award-winning and blockbuster films and T.V shows. He was known as an actor who liked to experiment and this can be seen in the diverse roles he had to play throughout his long and ongoing career.
From playing roles such as a charming urbane man in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Kal ho naa ho’, to being a quirky Parsi apprentice in ‘Being Cyrus’. From being a gangster in ‘Omkara’ to being a police officer in sacred Games, Khan had played various personalities and had made them his own.
The book promises to be a ‘no holds barred’ account of Khan’s life with his traditional style laced with humor as he opens up about his family, home, influences, failures, successes and of course his films
He later added that “So many things have changed and will be lost with time if we don’t record them. It would be nice to look back; to remember and to record. It has been funny and moving, and I must say, this is quite a selfish endeavor. I do hope others enjoy the book, too, of course.”
