One of the suspects in Sushant Singh Rajput’s murder case, Rhea Chakraborty, has been granted bail on Oct 7 on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.

Rhea had spent 28 days in Byculla jail on drug-related charges and returned home recently.

After her return, Rhea’s mother Sandhya Chakraborty revealed her reaction on getting released after a month.

In an interview, Sandhya said Rhea told her parents, “Why do you look sad, we have to be strong and fight this.”

She added that it is going to be an arduous task for her daughter to heal from all this trauma.

“I’ll have to put her on therapy to help her get over this trauma and reclaim her life,” said Sandhya.

She maintained that her daughter has dealt the entire matter with the utmost dignity and is a fighter.

Meanwhile, the B-Town actress’s brother Showik is under custody as Mumbai Police believes he is in contact with drug peddlers still.

Moreover, Rhea Chakraborty’s bail approval had evoked reactions from several of her Bollywood friends. Celebs like Anubhav Sinha, Kanika Dhillon, Ali Fazal and Hansal Mehta tweeted their reactions.

However, after Rhea’s arrest, the country’s narcotics board also questioned other Bollywood actresses, including Deepika Padukone.
