Petrol price to depreciate by Rs. 5 Per liter, OGRA sends summary
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent the summary to Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) which recommends a depreciation in fuel prices.
After the approval from Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) the summary will be then forwarded to the Finance Ministry for approval.
OGRA has calculated the price on the basis of Petroleum Levy of Rs. 18 per liter on the HSD, Rs. 15 per liter on petrol, Rs. 6 on kerosene oil, and Rs. 3 on LDO. The authority’s spokesperson refused to share the recommended prices of petroleum products.
The petrol price will go down from the existing Rs. 116.6 per liter to Rs. 110.81 per liter and HSD price will reduce to Rs. 120.03 per liter from the current Rs. 127.26 per liter if the government approves the recommendation.

Petrol Rate in Pakistan depend on various factors which include; economic conditions, globally transformation in oil and gas, political instability and etc.
(OGRA) Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority recommends the federal government about the Petrol rates, light Speed Diesel, High Speed Diesel, and Kerosene oil. Apart from that the prices are determined as per the area or region.
