ISLAMABAD: The government has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel while the prices of kerosene and light diesel have not changed.
According to a statement issued by the Finance Ministry, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1.71 per litre, after which the new price of petrol has been reduced to Rs 100.69 per litre. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.79 per litre to Rs 101.43 per litre.
According to the announcement, the prices of kerosene and light diesel have not been changed. Kerosene will remain at Rs 65.29 per litre and light diesel at Rs 62.86 per litre. These new prices will apply from midnight.
