For the first time in history, exports of Pakistan to the United States (US) has crossed the dollar 400 million mark.

According to the details, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood while taking to his official Twitter handle, said:

“I am glad to share that exports of Pakistan to US during the months of Oct & Nov 2020 stood at USD 430 million & USD 437 million respectively. This is the first time that our exports to the US have crossed US dollar 400 million mark in a month.”

He went on to say:

“It is a great achievement by our exporters & I encourage them to market their exports to US aggressively in order to capture a greater share of the market.”

Earlier Commerce Adviser Abdul Razak Dawood said that exports have increased by 7.2% year-on-year in November.

“We have just received provisional figures for export of goods. I wish to congratulate our exporters that in these very difficult times with resurgence of COVID-19 cases in Pakistan & globally, our exports have increased by 7.2% in November 2020 over the same period last year.”

Dawood said that in absolute value, our exports have increased to USD 2.156 billion in Nov 2020 as compared to USD 2.011 billion in Nov 2019.
