A summary from Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended hike of Rs. 11.95 per litre price of petrol.

According to the details, the fuel prices are likely to go up after Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended a hike in fuel prices from January 15th 2021.

The regulatory authority has conveyed a summary to the petroleum division for changes in fuel prices for the second half of January.

However, a final decision in this regard will be made by the petroleum division after consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to summary, an increase of Rs 9.57 per liter in price is proposed for the high speed diesel.

Earlier on December 15, 2020 an increase of Rs 3 per litre on petrol was announced, which now sell at Rs 103.69 per litre.

Prices of Hi-speed diesel, after Rs3 per litre increase, now sold at 108.44 per litre while other products such as Kerosene oil saw Rs5 per litre surge in retail.
