Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday while sharing the regional export trends congratulated the Commerce Ministry for playing its vital role in the uplifting of Pakistan’s economy.
He took to his Twitter handle and wrote:
I have received the regional export trends and this shows that, compared to our exports, the exports of India and Bangladesh for Nov/Dec 2020 showed negative growth.
He went on to say:
I wish once again to congratulate the exporters and the Ministry of Commerce for this achievement.

According to the statistics, in the month of November 2020 Pakistan witnessed 8.32 percent growth in exports whereas exports in India declined by -9.07 percent.
However, in the month of December 2020, the local exports rose more than 10 percent at 18.30. India on the other hand, recorded a declination of -0.80 percent.
Prime Minister Imran Khan in his early tweets said that the Economy of Pakistan despite the coronavirus pandemic has staged a remarkable turnaround.

The State Bank of Pakistan earlier revealed that Pakistan’s current account balance – the difference between the government’s foreign income and expenditure – remained in surplus for the fourth straight month at $382 million in October.
