Interior Minister Removes the Fee For NADRA Death Certificates
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a big announcement on Thursday: he’s getting rid of the fee for death certificates from the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA). This change is meant to make things easier for people and make important services more accessible.
During his visit to NADRA headquarters, Minister Naqvi not only talked about getting rid of the fee but also said they’re going to open NADRA offices all over the country, taking inspiration from successful police stations in Punjab. He also made sure to highlight the importance of keeping people’s data safe. He praised Chairman NADRA, Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar, for leading NADRA so well.
As part of helping the environment, Minister Naqvi planted trees at the NADRA headquarters.
In a detailed update, Chairman Muhammad Munir Afsar talked about NADRA’s plans for 2024-25. These plans include better security, cyber audits, making sure employees know about cybersecurity, and improving technology and infrastructure for NADRA’s online services.
These changes are not just for people in Pakistan but also for Pakistanis living abroad, making it easier for them to use NADRA’s services. Minister Naqvi’s actions show he’s serious about improving services and caring for the environment.
