PM Khan wants to see Pakistani students successful at int’l level: Governor
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the present government is promoting the culture of meritocracy and transparency in the country.
According to the details, Addressing the convocation of the University of Lahore in Lahore on Monday, he said that vice chancellors have been appointed in public universities on merit.
The Governor said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to see the Pakistani students successful at international level.
Earlier, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said, Pakistan has defeated terrorists due to unprecedented sacrifices of armed forces, law enforcement agencies and people.
According to the details, while addressing the 129th Convocation of Punjab University in Lahore, he said no nation has made more sacrifices than Pakistani nation in war on terror.
The Governor also said that Indian Citizenship Act has turned the entire India into Kashmir in which minorities are being deprived of their rights.
