A scholarship program has been announced by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) for the students who have secured 80 percent and above in the autumn 2020 semester examinations.

According to the details, all the students with 80% and above are eligible to apply for the scholarship program.

Rana Tarif, the students’ affairs director informed that the rate of the scholarship and the number of students benefiting from this scheme would be calculated in accordance with the funds available to the student affairs directorate.

The academic programs’ examinations were offered during the 1st phase of admissions to autumn semester 2020 including matriculation, FA, and ATTC, which will begin all over Pakistan from September 28th.

As per the details, roll number slips have been dispatched through the postal services to the students. On the other hand, the date sheet of the examinations and the roll number slips are also available on the university’s website.

On the AIOU Vice Chancellor’s special directives, Prof Dr. Zia ul Qayyum examination centers have also been established at the nearby union councils for the students who belong to far-flung areas.

To follow the SOPs, the Controller Examinations, Dr. Malik Tauqeer Ahman has also informed that wearing maks inside the examinations halls has been made compulsory as well as, every student will sit leaving two seats empty.
