The decision to open educational institutions across the country is in process.
The final decision of opening educational institutions will be taken at a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers.
A meeting of inter-provincial education ministers was convened on January 4 under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood.
Primary schools are said to resume from January 25, middle schools from February 4 and higher education institutions from February 15, sources said.
The proposal to take the exams in the last week of May and early June will also be considered, sources said.
Summer vacations will be short and the new school year will start in August.
Considering the Corona pandemic situation across the country, it is yet to be decided to open educational institutions in phases, sources say.
