IU, Unparalleled in creating opportunities

• The Iqra University (IU) conducted IU Job Fair 2023 on February 21st at its main campus in Karachi.
• More than 600 CEOs, MDs, Board of Directors, Owners of Industries from public, private sector
• At the end of the job fair, Dr. Qazi, Dr. Zaki Rashidi distributed shields among the participants.

The Iqra University (IU) conducted IU Job Fair 2023 on February 21st at its main campus in Karachi where top employers had set up their stalls with recruitment staff and associates to guide fresh graduates.

More than 600 CEOs, MDs, Board of Directors, Owners of Industries from public, private sector and top multinational companies were invited to the job fair so that students can get good and attractive placements.

Dr. Wasim Qazi, a Vice Chancellor (VC) expressed his views and said that immediately after the convocation, we organize job fairs. “The main objective of the traditional job fair, which has been going on for ten years, is to provide job opportunities for the better future of the graduating students.” He added that in the job fair more than 5000 students have given tests and interviews that will be provide better employment on a salary of 40 thousand to 165 thousand by top notch companies.

Dr Qazi expressed satisfaction at the success of the event as it served as a launching pad for many young professionals. Addressing the press he said, “We are committed to provide opportunities for the next generation. Our aim is to develop the workforce of tomorrow; equipping them with the tools they need.

The job fair is a part of the greater initiative to prepare our students for the challenges ahead”. He added that Pakistan is currently suffering from economic instability, unemployment is increasing rapidly, people are not getting jobs, due to which Iqra University has taken an initiative and conducted a job fair this year too.

He also said that IU is a top ranked university and provides the platform for higher studies for the youth who is struggling hard for better future.

IU job fair provides an excellent opportunity for employers to connect with talented and motivated students seeking employment and internship opportunities in the fields of Business Administration, Computer Science, Media Sciences, Health Sciences and Others.

Educationist and faculty members are hopeful that IU graduates are ready to make a positive impact in the workforce.
