Pakistan’s award-winning filmmaker Shehzad Hameed has released the trailer of his upcoming documentary that shines a light on climate change.
Shehzad Hameed released the trailer of his documentary series “THE POLITICS OF CLIMATE CHANGE” on social media.
The trailer for the 3-hour long documentary is out now. Shehzad Hameed said, “I traverse around the world to investigate Australia’s coal conundrum, Pakistan’s Himalayan meltdown, and Brazil Amazonian battle.”

“Along the way, I met people and activists trying to find ways to tackle the biggest issue of the 21st century, climate change,” he added.
Shehzad Hameed Ahmad won the award for his documentary on the war in Afghanistan. He dedicates his prize to Afghan journalist Samim Faramarz, who was killed in a bomb explosion while reporting.
Shehzad Hameed Films is an award-winning film company based in Islamabad that boasts of being one of Pakistan’s leading film production houses.
Along with this, its independent documentary films have gone on to win the Prince of Asturias Award from the King of Spain, the country’s equivalent of Sweden’s Nobel Peace Prize for the film The Pakistan Four, that later won the Best Documentary Award at the 2014 Indiana Film Festival.
