Actress Neha Dhupia has been at the receiving end of the trolls on social media in the past week.
A video of Neha Dhupia as a reality show judge reprimanding a guy, who revealed that he slapped his girlfriend who cheated on him with five other guys made waves rounds on the internet.
The actress gained mercilessly and unnecessarily trolling comments by the netizens for her comment.
It seemed like she was defending a girl for cheating in a relationship.
Neha Dhupia’s entire statement:
Neha finally broke her silence and clarified her stance in a lengthy statement on her Instagram story.
She wrote, “What the girl did is a choice she made which is a moral choice is regardless of someone, man or woman.
Adultery is a moral choice and moral choices are always ambiguous.”
Several actors including Malaika Arora, Taapsee Pannu, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani, Karan Johar, Amrita Arora, Sophie Choudry and many others came out in support of Dhupia after the entire Roadies controversy.
Moreover, each actor penned a note on social media.
They asserted that people should only discuss the debate and not spread hate online.

While, actress Sonam Kapoor said, “Ugh people are gross, I am sorry about the hate. No one deserves it. Especially when they are right.”
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana also came forward to support the actress.
Sharing Neha’s statement, Ayushmann wrote: “Discuss, debate. Don’t spread hate.”

On the other hand, Dhupia’s husband, Angad Bedi Angad Bedi also came out in wife’s support.
Angad shared a post with five pictures of himself with Neha.
He captioned the post as: “Sun MERI baat.. here are my 5 girlfriends!!!! Ukhad lo jo ukhad na hai!!!! #itsmychoice”

However, Roadies family and many celebrities from Bollywood support Neha Dhupia.
When Neha hit back at the trolls, Angad shared that post on his Instagram story and wrote, “Mothers, please raise your sons better…Thank You.”
The actress-judge was called a ‘fake feminist’, ‘hypocrite’ and many such names.
