Coronavirus survivor Tom Hanks has returned to his TV screen career as he hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’.

Tim Hanks hosted the first at-home episode to lighten everyone’s mood during these hard times.

The SNL comedy cast recorded the show from their homes amidst Coronavirus lockdown across the country.

SNL was hosted by legendary actor Tom and featured music from Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

The episode showed Tom standing infront of his kitchen dressed well in a suit.

“It is good to be here, though it also very weird to be here hosting Saturday Night Live at home,” Hanks said.

Speaking from his kitchen, Tom added, “It is a strange time to try and be funny, but trying to be funny is SNL’s whole thing.”

Earlier, got suspended production in mid-March due to the worsen coronavirus situation in New York City.

Hanks and his wife were one of the first celebrity couple to receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, now recovered.
