John Wick 5 is happening! Lionsgate confirms making of the sequel

A big shout out for John Wick fans! Keanu Reeves is here with back-to-back sequels game with Jon Wick 4 and 5. Both the sequels are expected to film consecutively next year.

The studio’s CEO John Feltheimer said on Lionsgate earnings call, “We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two installments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”

Lionsgate had originally announced the 4th edition in May 2019. The movie was all set to be released on May 21, 2021. But it was delayed earlier this year to May 27, 2022, due to coronavirus pandemic.

The official date of release of John Wick 5 has not been revealed yet.

Lionsgate is working on at least two John Wicks with the Starz television series The Continental and another movie called Ballerina.

Earlier, Warner Bros. had announced that The Matrix 4 will be released on 21st May 2021. However, John Wick 4, was previously scheduled on the same date.

The release date was named as ‘Keanu day’, Keanu Reeves will be starred in both the movies.

Apart from Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss star cast of The Matrix 4, will probably include Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jessica Henwick.

Actor Keanu Reeves is a man having exceptional acting skills as well as a charming personality. In addition to this, Keanu is known for his good heart too.

Recently, American actress Winona Ryder spoke about her long-time friendship with Keanu. While giving an interview to The Sunday Times, she spoke about a past moment from the sets of Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film, Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Ryder was only 20 at that time and Reeves was 28. They appeared together for the first time in this movie.
