Talented singer and actress Slena Gomez shares her experience of voting for the first time for US Elections.
‘Wolves’ singer detailed how she how she feels after voting for the first time.
According to the international news source, she said, “Honestly, I’m not ashamed to say this, but I kind of—this was my first time.”
She further explained, “And I’m going to say that because I never felt—and this is so true and I’m now, like, admitting it to people—like my vote counts.
“Like, every little thing counts so I just think some people get in their head, like, ‘Oh well, what does it matter?’ And then once I really, really started going in and diving in to this, it’s been all I can focus on,” she added.
Earlie, Selena Gomez and actor Timothée Chalamet open up honestly and talked about the forthcoming presidential elections of the US.
The Lady Bird star, 24, was seen queuing to submit his vote during a Livestream session, as his lead actor from A Rainy Day in New York managed to accompany him.
Chalamet uttered, “All that mail voting, they de-legitimize it, or they tried to legitimize it, so that’s why I wanted to go in person. I just want to, like, see it done.”
He further goes on and added, “Everyone’s telling young people to vote, but it feels kind of condescending, ‘Duh, we’re gonna vote. Duh.”
The two also wished that 2020 elections overthrow the current US President Donald Trump during a live session packed with laughter and jibes.
Chalamet uttered, “Oh, man. I really hope this guy loses,” to which nervously Gomez added, “I know”.
