Ellie Goulding flaunts a new look in music video for ‘New Love’

Ellie Goulding surprised fans on Tuesday evening after she shared the teaser of her music video for her new single, New Love.

The singer collaborated with Mark Ronson and Diplo on the song for the duo’s side project Silk City, with the single set to be released on Friday.

In the video teaser, Ellie, 34, sported a platinum blonde bouffant hairstyle as she sung in to the microphone while posing as a security member for the club.

For her stage look, the Halycon Days hitmaker rocked a shimmering green and pearl embellished dress.

Ellie’s other look was completely different. The songstress pulled of an androgynous figure in a khaki suit and tie with her hair slicked back.

She captioned the video: ‘NEW LOVE WITH SILK CITY @iammarkronson @diplo Thursday. 4pm PT / 7pm ET / Friday 12am GMT. Join the World Premiere on YouTube via the link in bio x’.

Ronson and Diplo launched Silk City back in 2018, with Dua Lipa collaborating with them for her hit ‘Electricity’.

Mark hinted at Silk City’s comeback earlier this week as he took to Twitter to write: ‘and we’re back… Heard you needed to dance?’, alongside a 10 second instrumental teaser.

It comes after the Starry Eyed hitmaker rocked voluminous curls and an elaborate white feathered jacket as she sipped on a carton of ‘milk’ on Instagram on Monday.

Ellie looked barely recognisable as her blonde tresses were transformed into a bouncy do, featuring vintage style pin curls.

Adding to her glamorous look, the singer sported a sweep of purple eye-shadow while she included a touch of bling with silver drop earrings.

The star appeared to wear a strapless nude top beneath her feathered jacket and looked relaxed as she gazed away from the camera.

Ellie failed to mention what inspired her latest look, instead simply captioning her snap: ‘Got milk?’
