Spotify is known for its podcast shows and the delivery of high quality music in various languages around the world.
Just last year, it was rumored that Spotify would launch its services in Pakistan by 2022, and now this has been confirmed by the management.
According to a tweet from Spotify, the website services will be launched in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Asian countries including Sri Lanka, the Middle East, the United States, Africa and several European countries.
Overall, Spotify will launch its services in more than 80 new countries around the world in the coming weeks, but it is not clear when exactly it will launch its services in Pakistan.
Although the services of ‘Spotify’ are not available in Pakistan, songs of many Pakistani singers and musicians are available on the music streaming platform. Recently young singer Asim Azhar’s song ‘Ghalat Fehmi’ was also included in his top ten songs on Spotify.
Asim Azhar tweeted on February 13 that his popular song is the first song of any Pakistani singer which has been included in the list of 10 best songs on Spotify.
