In light of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charges of prejudice, Kate Middleton and Prince William are changing their focus to diversity.
According to the 2020 trustees’ report from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s charity, the Royal Foundation, the two are striving for more diversity and want to make inclusion a priority in the future.
The 44-page report adds, “The Royal Foundation remains committed to equality and diversity, as well as to providing a positive, safe, and courteous workplace that supports the well-being and dignity of its employees, applicants, partners, suppliers, and those whose interests it serves.”
From January to December 2020, the comprehensive report delves deep into the charity and its finances.
This comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey in March that a royal family member expressed concern over their then-unborn son Archie’s skin colour.
Harry told Oprah, “That chat I’m never going to disclose, but at the time, it was embarrassing; I was a bit stunned.”
