Jamie Dornan talks about his friendship with Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield

Jamie Dornan is setting the record straight. Following Robert Pattinson’s recent interview in which the Batman star stated that he, Jamie Dornan, Andrew Garfield, Eddie Redmayne, and Charli Cox were were part of a prominent British actor group. Adding that he was always the “last one invited.” The Fifty Shades of Grey star is finally putting his past behind him.

The Belfast actor strongly refuted Robert’s claim of being an actor during an interview with ET at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards. Isn’t it a pity invitation? No.” The actor went on to say, “I think with Rob, we’ve always wondered, ‘Does he truly fit in with us?’ because he’d had some success before. Because we weren’t working and he was always working. We’ve sort of caught up, but we’ve all begun working more consistently. But yeah, Jesus, we’ve known each other for a long time. He did Twilight and was suddenly in a different stratosphere than us.”

Andrew Garfield, a former buddy of Dornan’s, is one of the few people he still remains in touch with. During his interview, Dornan mentioned that Garfield had seen his new comedy Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, which has received positive reviews for Dornan’s performance. He then went on to say, “Andrew is one of my closest friends. He arrived late to the party. I know how much he like it because he only saw it for the first time a few weeks ago.”
