Kanye West wants to “take his kids to space” as he continues his custody battle with ex-wife Kim Kardashian

The suggestion was made in the wake of the rapper’s custody fight with ex girlfriend Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s recent cancellation of his space trip.

Kanye West, 44, has discussed a rocket launch with SpaceX’s Elon Musk, according to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life on Sunday.

Kanye and Elon have talked about taking a space flight together, they said.

The insider continued, “But there have not been discussions on an exact date or exact time to do it.

“They are friends and talk about everything, but they don’t have set plans to go together, although the discussion has been had.”

Elon attended Kanye’s Donda 2 listening party in Miami last month.

And just days ago, Pete, 28, cancelled his mission on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin after the flight was postponed; it was originally booked for March 23 but moved.

The source added: “Kanye is not exactly jealous of Pete going to space, but when and if he does, he doesn’t want it to look like he is copying Pete.”

“He’d want to perform or do something completely out of the box,” they added, for instance, a “listening party in space.”
