Abhay Deol released a hilarious boomerang video of himself recreating the much-discussed Oscar controversy in which Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage.

A lady slaps Abhay in the video, who then makes a horrified expression for the camera. Despite Will Smith’s apology to Chris Rock via Instagram, the Oscar incident continues to make headlines.

Sharing the video, Abhay wrote, “@itsanitarani telling me about the Oscars. I’d have stood up and turned the other cheek if I knew what was coming!”

It shows Abhay and a friend sitting next to each other. His buddy slaps him across the face and gets up from her seat, while he leans down to show the camera his shocked expression.
