Under the Banner of Heaven: The story is based on the real-life murders of Brenda and Erica Lafferty, explores how faith and religion can breed deadly men. The church, which is supposed to lead people in the right direction, could be hiding some dark secrets that they don’t want to reveal.

The second episode picks off where the first left off, with the police holding Robin Lafferty (Seth Numrich). It’s now time for Jeb and Taba to find out what happened on that fateful day.

The first narrative is given by Allen (Billy Howle), while the second is told by Robin. Brenda (Daisy Edgar-Jones) was disliked by Robin and the other “male members” of the Lafferty family because she aspired to be more than a housewife, and the church felt that women should only be obedient wives. Brenda was not like that, which is why she was a stumbling block for Robin (Seth Numrich) and Ron (Sam Worthington).

Taba, on the other hand, has gone to the woods in quest of the other Lafferty brothers. He spots a little child in the midst of the forest while driving his car and rushes to the forest officer’s cabin.

He inquires if he has noticed anything unusual or heard gunfire. The officer leads him into the forest’s interior, where they find the bodies of numerous creatures. As a result, Taba goes off on her own through the wilderness in search of further information. In the meanwhile, Robin discusses the “anti-tax gang.” He and Dan were forming a group because they believed the US government was enforcing its own rules while ignoring the fact that God’s laws were greater.

The world of males, on the other hand, is full with people who wish to impose their own set of laws, as one might imagine. Individuals who believe and people who don’t believe have always had disputes, and the show effectively depicted this. Another fascinating aspect of the show is Jeb’s introspection about what he was taught and what he is observing today.
