Idris Elba reveals the song Meghan Markle asked him to perform at her wedding to Prince Harry

MOVIE actor Idris Elba claims that when he DJed at the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding to Prince Harry, she requested a Dr. Dre rap song.

When he stepped to the decks in 2018, Meghan asked him to perform the hardcore hit Still D.R.E., according to the actor.

When asked which songs were played on the reception’s dance floor, Luther told BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Rap Show: “Still D.R.E. by Dr Dre went off! Meghan made the decision.”

Harry and Meghan tied the knot at Windsor Castle, with an evening celebration at Frogmore House in Berkshire.

Other celebrities who attended were Hollywood actor George Clooney, 60, and his wife Amal, 44, talk show presenter Oprah Winfrey, 68, and tennis champion Serena Williams, 40.

Idris Elba, 49, who attended the wedding with his wife Sabrina, 32, began his career as a DJ before becoming famous as a TV and film actor.

Later, in his Netflix programme, Turn Up Charlie, he gets to show off his turntable abilities as a down-and-out DJ attempting to restore his music career.
