Prince Harry desperately wants Queen to see Archie again

As plans are being made for Prince Harry to attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, he is keen for the Queen to meet Lilibet and see Archie.

Despite Harry’s apparent denial that he has made up his mind about attending the Jubilee, his closest advisers predict he will want to go in order to fulfil his grandmother’s wish for him to spend the summer with his family.

The four-day celebration will take place across the UK from June 2 to 5, with street gatherings and major ceremonies such as Trooping the Colour.

Last week, as he and his wife Meghan Markle travelled to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, Harry had a private meeting with the Queen at Windsor Castle.

And an insider has said that Harry is keen to bring his family for the Jubilee, especially as Archie is now old enough to “enjoy and remember the event”.

They told the Mirror: “Harry loved seeing his grandmother again and he is acutely aware of her advancing years.

“He is desperate for Lily to meet her great-grandmother and for Archie to see her again now he is likely to enjoy and remember the event.”
