Amber Heard has yet to pay the ACLU the $3.5 million commitment she made over three years ago, citing a “financial issue” as the reason for her inability to do so.

The American Civil Liberties Union’s COO, Terence Dougherty, made the announcement.

She answered Heard’s 2016 charitable commitment of $7 million, explaining that the most current payments were received in December 2018 and 2019.

Ms Dougherty described how a $100,000 cheque from Johnny Depp and $350,000 from Elon Musk accounted for $1.3 million of her total compensation.

The Aquaman star made a one-time payment to the ACLU of over $350,000.
