Madonna, 63, shared a photo of her children David Banda and Mercy James, both 16, and twins Stella and Estere, 9, on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

While video conferencing with a fellow artist and partner this week, Madonna kept her children close.

On Tuesday, the 63-year-old music icon appeared on her Instagram Story with her children David Banda and Mercy James, both 16, and twins Stella and Estere, 9, waving to the screen in front of which their mother sat.

Madonna, dressed in a tuxedo jacket, fishnet top, and layered necklaces, was video chatting with Beeple, an artist with whom she is working on a new project.

“Its [sic] a Family Affair…” Her Madgesty captioned the photo. Madonna propped up the monitor she was using for the video call on a book on Frida Kahlo, an artist Madonna regularly recognises as a major influence.

Lourdes Leon, 25, and Rocco Ritchie, 21, are the Grammy winner’s eldest daughter and son, respectively.

Madonna posted a heartwarming supercut on her Instagram account for Mother’s Day, featuring images and video footage of herself with her children throughout the years.

The video, set to Gillian Hills’ “Zou bisou bisou,” included Madonna’s four younger children hugging and kissing her on the cheek, as well as photographs of Lourdes, or Lola, smiling alongside her famous mother at her 62nd birthday party in Jamaica in 2020.

The first image in the post was of Madonna resting on the knee of her late mother and namesake, holding a portrait of herself as a kid.

Madonna’s mother, Madonna Louise Fortin Ciccone, died when the future superstar was only five years old in 1963.

“Happy Mother’s DAY first And foremost to the Divine Goddess Mother Earth who gives us life everyday regardless of how little appreciation we show her,” Madonna wrote in the caption to her post.

She added, “After that I bow down to the resilience and strength of all Mothers Everywhere! Never underestimate the love of a Mother!”
