Sylvester Stallone as Dwight, his crime boss character in Tulsa King, was featured in a first-look photograph released by Paramount+. Tulsa King is latest series from Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the Paramount+ dramas Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, and 1883.
It is Stallone’s first major lead television series after guesting on a number of iconic shows. Which includes Police Story and Kojak in the 1970s.
Stallone’s character is referred to as Dwight “The General” Manfredi in the image, which comes from the Paramount+ Twitter account.

Tulsa King is a film produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios about New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone). He is summarily deported by his master to set up shop in Tulsa, OK, after being freed from jail after 25 years. After realizing that his mob family may not be looking out for his best interests, Dwight steadily assembles a “crew” of unusual personalities to assist him in establishing a new criminal empire in a place that appears to him to be another planet.
Tulsa King’s executive producers are, Sheridan, Winter, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, and Allen Coulter. Braden Aftergood will also be serving as an executive producer on the film.
