Ben Stiller visits Poland to join the UN High Commissioner

Hollywood star Ben Stiller and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees have teamed up to help those leaving Ukraine during the battle with Russia continues.

According to the media, a photo of Stiller chatting with UNHCR personnel in Poland was released in a duplicate post with the UNHCR Instagram feed.

In his caption, Ben Stiller talks about how he’s learning, sharing stories, and helping those in need.

Stiller said, “I’m here to learn, to share stories that illustrate the human impact of war and to amplify calls for solidarity.”

Furthermore, he added, “I hope you’ll follow along and share your own messages of support, for people who have fled their homes in Ukraine and for people who have been forced to flee all over the world. Everyone has the right to seek safety. Whoever, wherever, whenever.”

The actor has joined the ranks of celebrities such as Sean Penn, Angelina Jolie, and Mila Kunis in supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine as the country continues to be ravaged by Russia’s invasion.

He also posted on Instagram with the caption, “Near the Medyka border in Poland I had a chance to meet some families who fled the war in Ukraine, leaving loved ones behind with no idea when they will be able to return home- or have homes to return to.”
