Dwayne Johnson cut ties with Logan Paul’s friendship

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who has been a hero to YouTuber Logan Paul, severed ties with him following his 2018 controversy, and the YouTuber opened up about it in front of the media, calling it one of the “saddest moments of his life” when the WWE legend asked him to delete all of their photos and videos together.

Logan Paul faced a lot of backlash after posting a video from Aokigahara, Japan in 2018. Paul and his crew filmed in the forest at the base of Mt. Fuji, dubbed the “Japanese Suicide Forest” by some, and discovered a deceased man’s body. Netizens slammed Paul for the inappropriate video, and he received a lot of flak.

When asked about what happened after the incident, Paul replied, “I’m going to reveal what happened after the incident.” “After Japan happened, I obviously found myself in a hole, rightfully so, that I had never been in before. Extremely low, mentally, and I got a call from my publicist, who also repped Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. She’s like ‘Hey, Dwayne has asked that you remove every video and picture that you’ve done with him. Maybe in the future the relationship can be reconciled, but for now, he basically wants nothing to do with you.‘ Which I also understood. I get it. The YouTuber went on to say that receiving such a reply from his “idol” was “beyond heartbreaking.” Logan removed the video from his account after the 2018 scandal and issued a public apology for it.
