Jhanvi Kapoor is one of the most popular Gen-Z actresses, and it’s always a pleasure to see her since she never ceases to wow her fans with her stunning photos and videos. And, despite her status as a papparazzi favorite, she can avoid the madding throng. Her Instagram may be flooded with gym and travel photos, but the diva is above it all. She has frequently discussed her relationship with her family, her likes and dislikes, her films, how she handles social media trolls, her mother, late actress Sridevi, and many other topics. Aside from that, the actress has previously stated that she is a feminist who holds feminism in high regard.
The actress was asked about the issue that is important to her heart in an interview with Filmfare.“I think feminism is extremely close to my heart. I feel some people don’t even realize how deeply ingrained gender roles are not just in our country but all over the world no matter what strata of society you come from.” She has also acted in films about women, such as ‘Roohi’ and ‘Gunjan Saxena.’ Meanwhile, the Ghost Stories actress admitted that making films about women was not a planned decision.
Meanwhile, Jhanvi is in the midst of filming for her forthcoming film ‘Bawaal,’ in which she will star alongside Varun Dhawan. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is Dhawan and Kapoor’s debut collaboration. It’s worth noting that Bawaal is set to hit theatres on April 7th of next year. According to reports, the film will be shot in three Indian cities and five European countries, including Paris. The first schedule of Bawaal was shot in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
The Roohi actress is working on a number of interesting projects. She’ll next be seen in ‘Good Luck Jerry,’ a Hindi remake of the Tamil comedy-crime film Kolamavu Kokila, which was released in 2018. Following Roohi, she will reunite with Rajkummar Rao for ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi.’ She will subsequently star in ‘Mili,’ a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Helen,’ opposite Sunny Kaushal.
