Kim Kardashian wishes her hairstylist Chris Appleton

• Appleton has been responsible for some of the reality star’s most iconic haircuts and hues.

Kim Kardashian paid tribute to her hairstylist Chris Appleton on his 39th birthday by posting a sweet slideshow of photos to her Instagram Story on Tuesday. 

The beauty mogul, 41, tweeted a series of experiences they’ve had over the years, including photos of them travelling in her private jet together and him curling her hair while they play around.

‘Happy Birthday @chrisappleton!!!! You make going through this glam life so much fun!’ she captioned an image of them standing in her walk-in closet.

She continued: ‘I’ve seriously never met anyone that’s as hard working a you! Have the best birthday. I love you [sparkle emoji].’

Appleton has been an essential element of the reality star’s glam squad, responsible for some of her most iconic haircuts and hues, including dying her hair platinum blonde for the May 2022 Met Gala.

During an interview in 2019, the two recounted their first impressions of each other after meeting years earlier at her old house to design some fresh styles.

After Kardashian asked Appleton when they first met, he reminded her ‘it was when’ they cut a ‘short blunt wig.’

‘It was something you hadn’t done before and we were both so excited!’ he told her. ‘My first impressions were that you were really happy to try and explore different looks.’

The Leicester-born talent said Kardashian’s first words to him were: ‘Hi, I’m Kim. I’m excited to work with you. I’ve heard you’re the best.’

Appleton also raved that he was ‘honestly struck with how humble and kind’ Kardashian is and how she’s ‘the kindest, most humble person’ he’s ever worked with.

‘Not only are you a hair muse but you really do give back and are a big part of the whole process,’ the Color WOW hair global creative director added.

In 2019 at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, Kardashian raved that Appleton ‘changed her life.’

‘I’m so proud of him,’ she gushed as he won the Lori McCoy-Bell Hairstyling Award.
