According to Reports, Kit Harington is in talks to reprise his role as the mega-popular Jon Snow in a new Game of Thrones spin-off sequel centered on his character.

The exciting news first broke early on Friday, June 17, with reports claiming that the spin-off is currently untitled and takes place after the events of the original Game of Thrones series, which concluded in 2019 after nearly a decade on HBO.

At the end of the first season, Harington’s character, Jon Snow, was shown fleeing Westeros to start a new life north of the Wall after discovering that he could have been the heir to the iron throne as a Targaryen.

Only Kit Harington is said to be in talks to reprise his role as Jon Snow; it is unknown whether other living characters, such as Arya and Sansa Stark (Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner), will return.

This comes as House of the Dragon, a GoT prequel spin-off set 200 years before the events of GoT, is set to be released on August 21.
