Ranbir Kapoor says Anushka Sharma is his favorite leading lady

• He spilled the beans on his favourite co-actors, and Anushka Sharma was one of them
• His upcoming movie Shamshera will be released on July 22.
• Ranbir will work with Deepika Padukone once again on a project, according to reports.

Ranbir Kapoor recently joined an entertainment portal for a quick question and answer session. During this, he spilled the beans on a lot of things, including his favorite co-actors, and Anushka Sharma is one of them.

Who is your favourite co-actor, Ranbir was questioned during a discussion with Mashable. In response, he mentioned Saurabh Shukla, with whom he has previously been onscreen in the films Barfi, Jagga Jasoos, and the upcoming Shamshera. If he had to name his favourite leading lady, he said, it would be Anushka Sharma. “We’re really close friends and we annoy each other a lot, we keep fighting. We have good creative energy.”

Ranbir and Anushka have been together onscreen in movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Bombay Velvet, and Sanju for the uninitiated.

Regarding Ranbir’s forthcoming movie Shamshera, it will be released in theatres on July 22. Shamshera is a period action movie directed by Karan Malhotra. In the movie, where he will be starring with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, Ranbir will be in a never-before-seen role. Brahmastra, his upcoming movie, will be released on September 9. He will appear alongside Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Alia Bhatt. Besides these films, he also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled project with Shraddha Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna. Ranbir will work with Deepika Padukone once again on a project, according to an exclusive report.
