Maya played by Saba Qamar is a daughter of a proud teacher, who wants to get her daughters married to a rich bachelor. In his greed he came across Tabraiz who at first seemed like a good enough man. However, he turns out to be a con man who tricked Maya’s father into getting him married to his daughter. Saying just the right things made him seem like too good to be true. The wedding happened rather quickly and Maya was give 20 lacs as dowry, along with some jewelry. The entire fraud family of Tabraiz tricked Maya into giving away everything. Later the entire family disappered leaving no trace.

All hell breaks loose as Maya and her family are confronted with Tabraiz’s reality. That he has tricked 8 families like hers for the dowry. Her life appears to be crippling in pain after being tricked, however the show continues. It will be quite fun to know what happens next. As we have seen Saba Qamar emerging into this strong female character, maybe this story will work the same way. Let’s hope that it does.
