Zendaya clarifies the situation. Zendaya took to Instagram on Wednesday to address a rumour about her pregnancy with a story. Zendaya was caught up in a recent TikTok fad, and things became serious when the hoax spread to other social media sites, fanning the flames of a rumour that she was pregnant with her boyfriend Tom Holland’s baby.

“See now, this is why I stay off Twitter,” the Spider-Man: No Way Home actress said in her narrative, which was published by Page Six, as her name began to trend on Twitter as the turmoil unfolded. “Just making stuff up for no reason…weekly,” she continued. The TikTok video that began it all was a fan-made edit that incorporated a false ultrasound photo that was created to look like it was uploaded on Zendaya’s Instagram. The manipulated ultrasound fades to a footage of Kris Jenner rocking to Lady Marmalade in the film.

This TikTok phenomenon is being dubbed “Krissed,” and it’s similar to the Rick-rolled trend in which the spectator is duped into believing a false story. The prank became serious when the word spread on Twitter, and Zendaya’s supporters were unaware of the trend on the other platform. Many people began to wonder if the actress was genuinely pregnant as a result of this.
