Margot Robbie is now being hailed as the “highest-paid actress” in the world as a result of the enormous pay she received for the highly anticipated comedy.

The 32-year-old Australian actress will receive $12.5 million for playing the lead role in Oscar-nominated writer-director Greta Gerwig’s movie based on the famous Mattel doll of the same name.

In the hot-pink-filled movie, Ryan Gosling, who co-stars as Ken, will also get $12.5 million.

Screen icons like Denzel Washington ($20 million for “The Equalizer 3”), Leonardo DiCaprio ($30 million for “Killers of the Flower Moon”), and Tom Cruise ($100 million for “Top Gun: Maverick”) are among the other high-earning actors who continue to make more than Robbie’s commendable salary.

In comparison to Robbie’s female counterparts, Millie Bobby Brown, who starred in “Stranger Things,” made $10 million for the newest Netflix film “Enola Holmes 2.”

Jamie Lee Curtis ($3.5 million for “Halloween Ends”) and Anya-Taylor Joy ($1.8 million for “Furiosa”) were also on the list.

“Birds of Prey,” Robbie’s 2020 Harley Quinn standalone movie, already brought in $10 million.

In the upcoming movie “Barbie,” which also stars Ryan Gosling, 41, Simu Liu, Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, and Kate McKinnon, the “I, Tonya” actress plays Ken, a “beautiful loser.”

Barbie gets expelled from Barbieland because she isn’t flawless enough and she “goes on a journey” to save Barbieland before realising “that the secret to happiness is belief in oneself.”

Robbie even had her 32nd birthday on the set earlier this month, where she received a cheerful Barbie-themed cake with the words “Happy Birthday Barbie Margot!” written in light pink icing.
