Shruti Haasan conveys Prabhas quality

• Shruti Haasan is currently filming for Salaar with Prabhas and Nandamuri Balakrishna.
• Is also working on NBK 107, a Telugu action movie directed by KGF’s Prashanth Neel.
• The actress admits that she didn’t really know Prabhas before the film but has got to know him better.

Shruti Haasan is currently juggling three big projects between Salaar with Prabhas, Chiru 154 with Chiranjeevi, and NBK 107 with Nandamuri Balakrishna. She is currently filming in Hyderabad for the upcoming Telugu action movie directed by KGF’s Prashanth Neel. “That’s going really well. I am getting a lot of work done, and we are all having a good time,” says Shruti, who is very complimentary of the director.

“When I saw Prashanth’s work in KGF, what I really liked was how successfully he creates these worlds, stories, and characters. You just get drawn into this fantastic world. I have always admired that about him, and it’s wonderful to see that come to life in front of my eyes. Because you have a director like that who is so clear about how his characters move through that world. It’s almost liberating to go with the flow because you have somebody who is so specific already. Then it just becomes about what you can add and bring to the table, according to Shruti.

Before they began filming Salaar, she admits that she didn’t really know Prabhas. “It was just like hello/hi, but I have definitely got to know the whole team more during the making of this film. He is someone who makes you extremely comfortable to be around. He is super chilled out, super friendly, and it’s really nice to work with him,” says the actress.

Prabhas is well known for his passion for food and for providing lavish spreads for his cast and crew while they are on set, according to Shruti.

She is simultaneously filming for both NBK 107 and Chiru 154. I literally finish one schedule here before beginning the next. So, although it has been quite busy, I am very grateful to be working with such wonderful people. Because each character is so distinct, I must mentally prepare myself for a mental shift. I believe that has been the most preparation possible because earlier in my career, when I recall working on seven films simultaneously, perhaps my mindset and acting style were different, and I thought, “Yea, I can handle it.” But now I am like, ‘No, I need to like mentally prep for it,” shares Shruti.
