Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser to divorce after 8 years of marriage

Alexis Bledel, a former cast member of Gilmore Girls, and her husband Vincent Kartheiser reportedly chose to divorce after eight years of marriage.

A renown magazine claims that the Mad Men star and The Sisterhood actress filed for divorce in Putnam County Supreme Court in New York.

It is important to note that Bledel’s representative told  that the couple had separated.

The couple wed in June 2014 after meeting on the sets of an AMC series in 2012.

They welcomed a boy into the world together in 2017. The cause for the split has not yet been given.

On the professional front, the actress made news in May when she left The Handmaid’s Tale.

She also thanked Bruce Miller, the show’s creator, for crafting “truth and compelling situations for her character” in the popular series.
