Rohit Shetty says he puts his money in movies instead of actors

Rohit Shetty, who has collaborated with prominent actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh in his films, has stated that he prefers to put his money in his films instead of actors. The director claimed that neither he nor his actors have ever discussed fees, and they have consistently supported him in this.

Additionally, Rohit discussed his new online series Indian Police Force, in which Siddharth Malhotra is introduced to his cop universe, and praised the actor’s energy. The actor added that all of the “young” performers in his movies work really hard, which is why they didn’t consider money when they signed on for his projects.

When asked why he didn’t use the actor’s signing bonus to fund the project, Rohit said to media, The actors have always supported me. The performers frequently approach me with the attitude that not money is what matters because they are aware that we are producing a big movie. Everyone will earn profit if the movie gets success. I never have a price discussion with an actor in person. My standard is to go above and beyond in terms of scope and spending.

The director added that despite the fact that the majority of Bollywood films have had trouble at the box office this year, he is confident about the success of his next projects. He stated: “The manner in which I make movies has not altered. Because we are still producing the movie that represents all we stand for a larger than life, commercial, and multi genre film, me and my crew are the calmest in the industry right now.”

Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi are both featured in the upcoming OTT release of Indian Police Force on Prime Video. Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh is another film by Rohit. Additionally, he has stated that he will begin filming for Singham soon and then for the fifth Golmaal instalment.
