Alia Bhatt opened about how she felt about Shaandaar’s box office disaster

Alia Bhatt is ready to mark ten years in the industry. She made her acting debut in Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan’s Student Of The Year, directed by Karan Johar, and progressively rose to fame with films like 2 States, Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Raazi, Gully Boy, and most recently Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Alia Bhatt is one of the few actors in Bollywood who has experienced success on a consistent basis. Given that all of her previous films had been successes, Alia discussed how Shaandaar’s failure affected her.

In a interview. Added Alia: “To my luck, 90% of my movies did well at the box office. However, there has been one failure, and as a result, I am more at ease. Shaandaar didn’t work in the box office for some odd reason. I was devastated.

Alia’s performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Darlings wowed everyone. Gangubai Kathiawadi was a rare hit for Bollywood in 2022, while Darlings had the largest number of viewers for a Bollywood film on the OTT platform where it was released. The trailers for her next film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy, have received positive feedback. The legendary fantasy drama will be released in theatres on September 9, 2022. Aside from the films stated above, she will be seen in the aforementioned Hollywood blockbuster, Heart Of Stone, as well as Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Her film alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra has been delayed for the time being.
