Britney Spears hopes to settle her legal fight with her father

• Jamie Spears and Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group were charged with stealing significant sums of money from her during her 13-year conservatorship.

Britney Spears is hoping to resolve her legal dispute with her father Jamie Spears and her previous management agency.

According to TMZ, the pop star’s legal team has contacted both sides to try and reach an agreement to settle the case for $7 million.

During Britney’s 13-year conservatorship, Jamie and Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group were charged with stealing significant sums of money from her.

The Hold Me Closer hitmaker’s father and her previous manager, though, have refuted the allegations.

According to a New York Times article, Jamie collected $7 million under the conservatorship while Britney’s former conservator stole $6 million from her.

5% of the singer’s “adjusted gross entertainment revenue” was paid to Tristar, though.

The Princess of Pop was placed in the conversatorship in 2008 and was finally released in 2021 after a protracted court fight.

Britney claims that her father mistreated her and forced her to perform tasks against her will during this time.
