Ranbir Kapoor says he is very dependent on wife Alia Bhatt

• Ranbir admitted that Alia is very important to his daily routine as well.
• In the movie, Alia’s character Isha adds that Shiva, played by Ranbir, would be “incomplete” without her.

For more than five years, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been a couple. They exchanged vows and became husband and wife in April. The two discussed their relationship in a recent interview, and Ranbir admitted that Alia is very important to his daily routine as well.

In the recently released Brahmastra Part One- Shiva, Ranbir and Alia Bhatt made their debut on-screen appearance together. They originally started dating while working together on the set of this Ayan Mukerji movie. The epic fantasy superhero movie had a successful opening weekend, earning over $300 million globally and 184 million rupees in India over its first eight days of release.

In the movie, Alia’s character Isha adds that Shiva, played by Ranbir, would be “incomplete” without her. The two were questioned about their dependence on one another in real life during an interview.  Ranbir responded, “I boast a lot that I am very independent and detached, but in reality I am very dependent on her. I don’t go to the bathroom or eat if I don’t know where Alia is. It is very important for me to have her next to me. It doesn’t matter if we don’t do anything romantic or even talk but she should just sit next to me.”

Alia added that it is true that “Ranbir can’t do anything” without her. “If I am not around, Ranbir leaves everything for the last minute,” she said.

Currently expecting their first child together, Ranbir and Alia. Two months after their wedding, in June, Alia made the announcement while sharing a photo of the couple taken at their ultrasound session. In Brahmastra Part Two-Dev, the two will play the roles of Shiva and Isha once more. The movie’s premiere has not yet been set.
