Do you think we’ll see Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in a romantic comedy soon?

After the huge financial success of their fantasy film, reports surfaced that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will reteam for a romantic comedy.

Ranbir and Alia addressed the rumours for the first time in an interview with India Today. The real-life pair said that they haven’t signed up for any new movies together and that their next public appearance would be in Brahmastra 2.  “Alia and I have a real-life comedy going on. I don’t know if we need to do a film together,” comment, Ranbir Kapoor put an end to speculation of a future collaboration between the two actors.

However, Alia Bhatt has confirmed that she is aware of the speculation that they may work together on a romantic comedy. The amazing actress, however, has confirmed that they will be working on Brahmastra Part 2 together in the future. “Ayan is so protective of me and Ranbir together that I don’t know if he will let us do anything apart from the Brahmastra films. But as Ranbir said, our life is only a rom-com so there you go,” she continued.

Alia Bhatt responded, “You never say never,” when asked if the two actors could work together on a movie that wasn’t set in the Brahmastra universe. We shall see what happens if anything of interest arises.

Brahmastra returns with Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev, the sequel to the original Brahmastra. According to reports, Shiva’s parents Dev and Amrita will play a major role in the sequel to Brahmastra. According to the grapevine, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have joined the cast of Ayan Mukerji’s movie. There have been rumours that the power couple will play Dev and Amrita in the film.
